I'm definitely going to try this, it sounds yummy! And it looks like it's about 25g of protein!

Good evening!

I found out today the my insurance approval is in! My stomach is full of butterflies...this is getting real.

AND I'm taking a little over a month off...THAT is exciting. I have a monster boss and just to be away from her for over a month sounds like heaven to me...even if I am healing up and living on 5 calories a day. It's still worth it!

Today's Day 6 of my pre-op diet...it's going really well. This is literally my last chance at being a normal weight, and I'm going to follow every single direction to the letter.

QOTD: I have Kindle Unlimited, so I'm constantly reading something. I'm currently reading a dystopian novel, about post-EMT America. I do love dystopian novels...as long as the writing is decent. I've read some that I've had to put down before I could get through the first chapter. Grammar and spelling and well-constructed sentences (and characters) are pretty important to me. After I'm done (I'm on 3 of a 4 series set by Jack Hunt) After I finish book 4, I'm going to read "The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell" by Robert Dugoni. He is one of my favorite authors, really talented. I'm also reading "Bariatric Mindset Success: Live Your Best Life and Keep the Weight Off After Weight Loss Surgery" by Kristin Lloyd. Can't remember *****commended it, but it's got 5 stars, and anything that will help me succeed in this journey is something I'm going to grab at!
