Good afternoon. I'm in a bit of a funk today but don't know why. I'm currently sitting on a beach hoping the sun will "cure" me.

QOTD: I am always reading something. Right now I am reading "The Nightingale: A Novel" by Kristen Hannah. Not bad but not a book I can't put down.

2 Years, 2 months post-op

I was going to smoke a brisket over the Holiday, you have me wishing I did!

  1. Pre- Surgery/ Type 2 Diabetes, High BP and Cholesterol, treated with 6 medications, including Insulin. Post Op- low dose BP med 2022, Mounjaro 10/2023

HW - 299 , Consult day weight - 277, Day of surgery ( 11/19/2014) - 259,LW - 178, GW - 195, CW- 194.2 - reached goal

Good Morning All - Hump Day for me Yay.... Have a quieter day today - just a service board meeting with the guys over lunch as one of our Engineers is going on leave for a month to head back to France to see family etc. Will be wonderful for him.

QOTD: I rarely get time to read. Always seems to be a million things that need to be done. Going to try and get into the habit of reading a little before I sleep to help switch off my brain

B: Yoghurt & Granola

L: TBD - Something at the cafe whilst at the meeting

D: Fish, Sweet potato wedges and Veg

Good afternoon everyone! It's my birthday and for the first time in years I took the day off! I had comp hours at work and thought "what's better than a 3 day weekend... a 4 day weekend!". I had some wine last night and stayed up chatting with my girls until 3AM, so I slept half of today away! Nick and the kids are taking me out for hibachi tonight :)

Also hit another big milestone - ONEderland! I know 199 is a pretty arbitrary number, but it still felt startling to see my weight begin with a one. I didn't know if I would ever see that again.

QOTD: I am reading "Behave: The Biology of Humans at Our Best and Worst". I just started, but so far it's pretty interesting!
