QOTD- I am reading Book of the Dead by Patricia Cornwell. I love anything in her Kay Scarpetta series. Gotta go to the library to get more books today. I have to pick up some protein snacks like cheese and pepperoni along with a bike rack for my car. Going on a camping trip with kids and extended family tomorrow.
B - Oikos yogurt with pb powder L - taco salad D - chicken breast with California blend vegetables. S - premier protein S - 4 cups popcorn Total calories - 1102QOTD - i read way to many manuals and scripts in the week, so i enjoy relaxing with a magazine rather than a novel..
I have been reading my journal entries and noticed I'm a creature of habit, eat the same things almost daily, with the odd change ( last night was my 19th anniversary dinner) my wife cooked chicken Devan and asparagus and mushrooms.. it was great to change things up a bit, but today its the same as normal its working so why change the recipie, I am also looking at subing a snack with Biltong ( South African type Jerky Biltong) I make it myself and is a South African tradition. I use less salt and cut the excess fat off the meat. I will start slow.

L - Tuna with Catalina salsa with cottage cheese.
S - Cup of tea with Milk - in meeting
D - Poached chicken breast with cumcumber
S - Slice roast beef

I have my staple foods too. Normally each meal has a couple choices. I'm only just now changing the menu up some. Food isn't an enjoyment like it used to be, but some different tastes are nice.
Good morning! I got my hair cut on Thursday, an asymmetrical cut and I don't like it. I'm going back in to her shop in an hour to get it fixed. Thank goodness she told me to call her if I didn't like it:-) I wanted something a little edgy and different, I can't pull it off. She has been doing my hair for 21 years, this is the first time I have ever asked her for a redo:-)
It's beautiful out today. I have Mahjong tonight and will spend the rest of the day running errands and continue packing for Denver, I leave on Thursday.

My hair used to be to my butt! One day I chopped it all off. Was an extreme change. It's even shorter than that now and I like it that way! It's good to experiment though and get out of the comfort zone ?even if we realize it was maybe not for us!)

Good afternoon,
Had a adventure yesterday, got a flat tire on my new tires. Must of picked up a nail at the drive thru that was doing construction inside the restaurant. Got AAA to change it. I only had a donut and knew I couldn't drive home on it. The only place opened was Walmart auto center. They couldn't fixed my tire. Had to get a new one so my friend paid for it since I offered to drive where her mom was.
Got 20 miles from home, some car with his emergency flashers on kept stopping and going in the passing lane. He and another car pulled off and when I was almost pass him, he took off bat out of hell and was swerving in all the lanes. Cutting people off the road. It was scary. Got home safe.
Qotd I have The Obesity Code on my iPad . I have two books that I'm trying to read, Reclaiming yourself from binge eating and Climbing out of depression.

That sounds like an adventure for sure. I am always so cautious of drivers. I have been hit twice, both from careless drivers.
