Good morning everyone! Holiday weekend all over and the week is restarting. I hope you all enjoyed your memorial day! Mine was pretty uneventful, just spent time out in the sun really, went to my grandfather's grave and then my grandmother's father's grave to visit. Went to the mall to walk around some, got tons of steps in just window shopping!

Today's menu puts me over 1000 calories. While it's super scary to think of that number now, it's where I wanted to be as a baseline. While I'm not ready to start maintenance quite yet, I am more interested in increased energy to sustain my physical activity both at the gym, which I have a pretty accurate measure of how much I'm burning thanks to my chest strap, and also my day to day life. Am resisting the very strong urge to go and weigh myself again already.

No big plans for today either, though I am going out to visit with a friend and help her do a few errands she can't do herself. Should be a good day overall :)

QOTD: Are you reading anything currently? What are you reading, or what do you want to read?

Sounds like you are doing really good! I am reading, wait, I am going to read The Mountain Between Us A novel by Charles Martin. I have been saving it until I have my VSG which is tentatively set for June 18th. In the meantime, I read anything to do with health or science breakthroughs daily.

PB powder, peanut butter powder? I've seen it at the store but never figured out a use for it. That sounds like a good way to incorporate more protein in my diet.
