Good morning and happy Friday! You do a great job on the meal threads Mersh, no worries:-) I never get to the computer early enough to even start them, so thanks for doing it.

It stormed here as well yesterday. I dumped buckets and buckets of rain for at least an hour. I don't think I have ever seen that much rain at one time, I bet we broke some kind of record. Emmy and I got caught in the beginning of it during our hike and had to hunker down under some trees until it let up enough to get to the car. Lots of thunder and lightning as well.

Getting my hair cut today for my trip to Denver, then taking my mom to the casino this afternoon.

QOTD-During the summer I would have to say gardening, thrift store shopping and yard sales. Pretty soon it will be Saturday Farmers Market.

B-Bullet coffee

L-Plain Greek yogurt with pumpkin, stevia and almonds

S-Chai tea, turkey jerky

D-Tuna salad

E-Short walk with Emmy after haircut.

Have a great Friday everyone, stay safe!

Aah, my farmers market started the first weekend of May and I haven't been yet. It became such a source of stress for me and I'm not sure if I want to deal with it again. Ever. Blah.

Mersh, call and try to negotiate the bill. My friend's son was without insurance for less than a month after he accidentally let his school insurance lapse. In that time he got a kidney stone and ended up in the ER. He was able to work them down from a bill over $8000 to $1000. Amazing.

I am going to keep trying, I have talked to them a few times, but they are so harsh and rude over the phone that I get intimidated. I'm going to have to make my grandma do it lol, she's a tougher cookie than me with people.

It's not my strong suit either! But remember it's their job to get as much money out of you as possible. The rudeness and intimidation is meant to make you give up. Your job is to keep at it and talk them down! This of it as good life practice...
