Hello,

I am about a week into my pre-op diet. Gotta say, I'm having a real struggle with cravings. Any tips or suggestions anybody has for surviving these two weeks before surgery? (Sorry, I know this sounds dramatic, but I'm feeling a bit emotional right now.)

The pre-op diet really just sucks and that's all there is to it.

I recommend trying to keep as busy as you possibly can to help distract yourself!

pre-op diet just sucks. It eventually gets easier, but still difficult. I work overnights in an office setting so boredom was a killer for me. My advice is to drink a lot of water or low-calorie drinks so your stomach is never really empty and keep busy.

I just started my two-week pre-op diet today, and I am suffering too! I'm trying to fill up with liquids as much as possible. I had almost given up diet soda in preparation for surgery, but I'm re-introducing it just to help me get through the next two weeks.
