Haha! Love it. My son and his friends do that now. :) It's good to know playing pretend is still part of childhood.

Mersh, thank for sharing your thoughts! It sounds like you are doing the right things to get your mind in a good place. I think that these forums are the perfect place to share these things.
When I was still losing I only weighed once a month on my surgiversary or else the fluctuations and stalls would have made me crazy. In maintenance I shifted to daily weighing - always first thing, no clothing, nothing in stomach yet (but nothing out yet either LOL). It still freaks me sometimes but I've learned to mostly accept the fluctuations and just look for trends. I consider it my daily "reset" button which allows me to forgive the previous days transgressions (if necessary) and to proceed on plan.
QOTD: I was 100% a doll girl. I particularly liked baby dolls, but Barbies were right in there as well. I had Barbie, Skipper, Ken, Midge and whatever other skinny friends they had.

I never had a Ken doll. I used to use "uglier" barbies as Ken!
It's Friday and I'm in the office today - this is an outrage, haha. We're heading off to our favorite campground this afternoon - and rain is expected this weekend. I've packed sweatshirts and rain jackets and my kindle!
QOTD: I loved Barbie - and used to sit her in my slippers and pretend they were the Barbie car, haha. I had a daughter that hated dolls - much to my dismay. I also loved to play outside - kickball, hide and seek, jacks, jump rope, etc.
B: cheerios
L: IDK - something from the caf
D: hot dog on the grill!!!
E: nothing formal - probably alot of steps at the campground
L/V: Good

Enjoy your camping! I am a camper as well, I have a 34 ft camper we keep as a seasonal and I just bought an older pop up for traveling during hiking season, has a kayak rack on it so i can bring them along. NYS has alot of great state parks that have sites on the water...Love it.

Long story short--child of the 50s-60s, so of course did the doll thing. When I was 13 I thought I was too grown up for such (having graduated to stuffed animals) and gave away my collection to kids I babysat for. Some time ago, succumbing to a fit of nostalgia, I found some of those old memories:

Thanks, I like her, too. She is a spiffed up replication of my first (and only) Barbie- a bubble-hair, circa 1964?- 10th birthday. The only outfit mine ever had was the swimsuit she came with. I was envious of my friends whose barbies had wardrobes, carrying cases, cars, Kens, friends, etc.....Ha--funny how one of God's greatest gifts to humankind is that of lovely memories. Thanks, Merch, for the proverbial stroll down.....

Good morning menu friends and Mersh, I hope everyone is doing well today. I agree with Liz, sounds like you are doing everything you need to do to get the mental aspect of this down. Calling your therapist was a great step, I try to get in early when I need a little extra help too:-) You are doing great Mersh!
Casino Friday again already, I will limit the amount of money I bring and take Emmy again. This worked out great last week. I can't say no to my mom, she really enjoys it and it is social for her. I don't want her to drive the 40 miles alone.
QOTD-For some reason dolls and I didn't get along very well as a child. This frustrated my mother, she would find all of their hair cut off, she gave up buying them for me:-) I loved building forts and small towns with anything we could find outside. I also loved my skateboard, it provided endless hours of entertainment for years!
B-Bullet coffee, 1/4cup 2% greek yogurt w/SF pudding mix
L-HB egg, string cheese
S-Chai tea with cream & stevia
D-Inside of a Subway sandwich
E-Hike with Emmy
Have a great Friday!
