Surgery tomorrow - little nervous today
Having sleeve tomorrow at 10:30 am and have been so excited, but woke up this morning nervous and doubting my decision a little. My boyfriend keeps assuring me it is normal, just hoping the doubt goes away and the excitement returns. I know this is the right step for me, just hate this nagging feeling. Did anyone else feel this way?
Yeah, I did a few days before. It passes. Just make sure you start walking the halls as soon as you can the night after surgery. You need to absorb and fart out the gas they pump in. First day and a half is worst, but then it's easy sailing. Sip,walk, fart, repeat. You'll be on the losers bench in no time.

I was definitely nervous and overthinking everything the night before. I think it's completely normal to feel that way before any surgery or major life event. I'm nearly 6 months out now and I'm feeling so great! (Took me several weeks to feel "normal", but it's been so worth it).
just take some deep breaths and be kind to yourself. Wishing you well with everything tomorrow and beyond!

Yes I did!! Took me two years to have this surgery from the time I started the process. I was horrified! It went great and I made a fuss for no reason. It is one the best decisions I've made. You'll do fine! Wishing you an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery!
