Hooray for Thursday! Getting off at 4:30 today and going for a walk with my sister before having her and my nephews over for dinner.
QOTD: I refuse to watch anything that has children being victimized or hurt, or any graphic violence against anyone. I qui****ching Criminal Minds because of that, and don'****ch Walking Dead either. I've literally walked out of movies over it. I'm just too sensitive! I work with trauma survivors in real life, so I don't want to spend my free time being exposed to that. I'm all about comedies!

I agree with your tv choices. I work in mental health also and never want to watch anything dramatic or upsetting after work. Comedies and something nice and soothing like The Great British Bake Off is my jam!

Good morning! It's snowing again today so I think I am going to tackle the large piles of clothing I have accumulated. It's time to put them into two piles, one for summer and one for donation. I am even going to get the donation pile into my trunk by the end of the day!
QOTD-Any kind of show or movie with animals. It's not that I refuse to watch them, I can'****ch them. Even if they have a good ending or are sweet like the show "Too Cute" on the animal planet. I have tried, it sounds silly, I know:-) Fox News or any of its affiliates don't even exist on my T.V., the channels have been removed from the guide(I apologize if I offend anyone).

Good Morning All - End of the working week for me yayyyyy! Will try and finish around 2.30pm so I can go haunt more thrift stores for Jam Jars. I bought 70 lbs of sauce tomatos over Easter from a farm. We did 35lbs last night - diced and now soaking with onion and salt - waiting to be made into Relish. Will prepare same for tonight and make Churney Saturday. Will need lots of jars.......
Busy weekend planned. Tonight will be the relish making and preparation of chutney to soak. Saturday we are collecting dirt for the front yard. Sunday will be collection of stones. So lots of manual labour coming up.
I finally weighed when I got home from our farm after Easter and I stayed the same which Im happy with.
QOTD: I dont really watch a lot of TV but dont like anything too scary - gets my brain going and I find sleep harder

QOTD: I avoid any of those "torture porn" movies like Hostile, Saw, etc. I can't deal with that sort of violence just for the sake of violence. I also refuse to watch shows that make a spectacle out of obese people - My 600lb Life, Biggest Loser, etc. I just can't get on board with the roundabout fat shaming.

QOTD: I really hate reality shows. I experience all the embarrassment I think they should be feeling and clearly aren't. It's so anxiety producing for me. But every once in a while I spin past one and get sucked in. Like the most recent My 600 lb Life or an episode Hoarders. And then I feel icky for having watched.
B - coffee, yogurt, berries, grain free granola
L - cheese and fruit protein box from Starbucks, grande 2% sugar free latte
D - mussels, popcorn
S - oatmeal and berries, salami (not at the same time)
LOL on welcoming perimenopause. I didn't like that particular phase much but I was thrilled to go into menopause at 47.
