Sushi

I love all thibgs food right now. I think im due time we can have anything we want as long as its just a taste. But we're always suppose to steer clear of the taboo things.. Bagels, soda, donuts, - all the good stuff
eating a taste of anything you want is a sure fire way of not losing weight and continuing to gain.
Reading sone of your posts, it appears you were sadly totally uninformed about how to be successful after WLS.
if you don't learn the facts and really get with the program I am afraid you will not be happy with your results.
Have you considered having some therapy to help?

Huh? I think absolutes are horrible. Of course we should all aim to eat healthy almost all the time to maintain weight. To lose, you should aim to be compliant all the time if you can. Compliance is different for everyone.
Personally I do not think sushi is a bad choice, just not a great choice during active weight loss. The reason sushi can be a terrible choice is if it is a fried roll or sauce ridden, it can be very fattening. Things like brown rice, raw fish etc won't get you fat unless you eat them in excess.
Getting to the original post, when I had a sleeve I always had trouble with rice. It would get stuck and I would barf. I steered clear of it but occasionally being obstinate and stupid because I like it I would try again with the same result. :)

I think it's a matter of reframing what you consider "the good stuff." :) I think a delicious steak is pretty much tops of my "good stuff" list!

I eat sashimi. You can eat sushi when you get to solid foods, but I wouldn't for awhile after that phase. There's not a ton of protein in sushi, honestly. Sashimi though, is delicious.
