It's vacation week for me! My classes finished yesterday and I have a week off before they start up again. Very exciting. I have a ton of things to accomplish this week, and I'm looking forward to getting some friend time in as well.

Today will be a busy day with PT for my shoulder, a regular dental checkup, and my WLS support group meeting. Whee!

QOTD: What (TV, streaming, etc) shows are you into? (I'll answer in a comment so you don't have to scroll by my answer!)

1: protein shake
2: sausage with grape sauce (weird, but really tasty)
3: scrambled eggs with cheese (I might switch these meals)

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: shoulder exercises, foot exercises, yoga

How about you? What've you got going on this Monday?

QOTD

I'll just share the stuff I'm currently actively watching, or have just finished.

With Lance: We just finished Altered Carbon. We're keeping current with The Walking Dead and we're going to star****ching The OA tomorrow night. I love Brit Marling so I can't wait!

With Art: We're in season three of Supernatural.

With both: We just finished the second season of Into the Badlands and have started season two of The Expanse.

My "to watch" list seems infinite. There's so much good programming on these days. I remember in the 90s when we would say, "Two hundred channels and nothing to watch." Now I feel like I have shows beyond life expectancy!

Greetings! A week of vacation sounds great! We just returned from a weekend at Cape Cod - which turned out to be extremely boring due to the storm/lack of power and businesses being closed, etc. We did see Black Panther - which I enjoyed, but realized I'd rather wait and watch at home.

QOTD: I was just off for six weeks due to T****ched Stranger Things, Boesch, MindHunter, ozark, Goliath - and am presently binge watching Sons of Anarchy - which I hadn'****ched before. I also love Big Bang, Grey's Anatomy and watch all the NCISs - because my husband is obsessed.

B: scrambled egg with cheese, 2 slices bacon

L: hard boiled egg, tofu, grilled chicken, blue cheese dressing

D: pork chop with marinara and mozz cheese

S: cheese and/or yogurt

E: walk

Four weeks from today I'll be starting my new job and my ride to work won't look like the picture below! The weekend was productive with a lot of packing. Now I just have to manage to not have an anxiety attack while living in clutter for 3 weeks.

QOTD: I don'****ch much TV at all and I watch even fewer movies. Normally, whatever I'm watching is something I can mostly no****ch and do other things at the same time. I recently started re-watching America's Next Top Model - which actually has provided some insight into how far/not far we have come in regards to how we treat women. When I do get into an actual show, I like dramas that aren't too suspenseful or scary. I've watched The Fosters, Parenthood, Casual, Grey's Anatomy, Switched at Birth, Dexter, Gilmore Girls, etc. Kind of chick-flicky actually, which doesn't really match my personality. But, I don't like TV to be work to watch my sort-of ADD brain.

I'm participating in CAMAW this week (or at least until Friday at dinner)

Morning all! Mondays are one of my later days at the prison, and I'm still a under the weather, so I'm fighting the urge to throw a pity party!

QOTD: Because I work with trauma survivors and people who are incarcerated in real life I usually stick with comedies on TV to unwind. Only the light stuff! So I don'****ch any of the most popular shows (GOT, Walking Dead, crime shows, etc). I rewatch The Office & Parks & Recreation so much that I can quote them line for line. I just finished watching season 1 of GLOW on Netflix which was good. Gwen, I'm like you, my "to watch" list is so long, there's just not enough time!

B - Protein shake

L - salami and mozzarella

d - beef stew (just the meat for me & maybe a carrot or two)

Good morning! It's final exam WEEK, which means next week is Spring Break. The wife and I are SO excited. I really need a vacation. We STILL haven't discussed whether or not we are going to the mountains, but we have until Saturday to cancel our room for free, so we will see. I almost want to save the money and get the house cleaned up, but I know I could use a getaway. Decisions, decisions.

QOTD: I never watched TV or movies before I met my wife 7 years ago. I was always a voracious reader, and I always had a book with me, literally. She loved TV, and now I'm sort of interested. We have watched: Will and Grace, Friends, That 70's Show, and many other shows that I missed out on during my anti-TV life.

Right now, we are watching/have recently watched: The Fosters, Grey's Anatomy, The OA, Dexter, The Following, Criminal Minds, Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead, The 100 (ALYCIA DEBNAM-CAREY is my GIRL), Bob's Burgers, Masterchef, Masterchef, Jr. and Superstore.

I don't do romances or lovey-dovey crap unless it's strongly entrenched in something else.

B: Special K protein cereal with skim

L: lemon pepper chicken and broccoli

D: Buffalo Chicken Salad on spring mix with tomatoes

Snacks: Part of a banana, beef jerky, greek yogurt
