Congrats to your French sister and her citizenship!! If Lance is able to become a citizen in the future (if/when Norway allows dual citizenship) I will throw him the tackiest patriotic party ever :D

Thank you! The party was deeply tacky and she was equally touched, so it was a success. I definitely got some looks when I stopped by the store in head to toe Stars and Stripes, but most people probably assumed I'm just really, really into the Olympics. Hopefully Norway will consider a change in policy at some point!

Ooo, the Shire would be awesome! I'd debated Middle Earth, but it seemed a bit too dangerous and I'd probably end up murdered by an Orc. But the Shire is a great way around that. :D

Haha, yeah you're right! There are a lot of ways to die in middle earth!

Good morning! Happy 40th to Art!

When I finished my hike with Emmy yesterday it was a beautiful 56 degrees, we dropped a record 40 degrees in 3 hours to 16 degrees by dinner. They broadcasted a warning, but I was in denial:-)

Not a very exciting Friday planned, the 10 inches of snow overnight takes away any chance of taking my mom to the casino tonight. So it's probably going to be Costco, then out to dinner somewhere.

QOTD-HBO's Westworld is intriguing, but I would have to agree with Gwen, Jurassic Park(but not for very long:-)

B-Plain Greek yogurt with walnuts and SF vanilla pudding mix

QOTD: I'm currently listening to Duma Key, which is one of my favorite audio books. The narrator is incredible. Its not a classic King slasher, more supernatural. But make believe places, probably in The Body Farm books. Spellbinding.

YAY, FRIDAY! Happy 40th Birthday to your Art! I'm sure he's thrilled, haha.

These kids are driving me nuts today, haha! Bit of a stressful day for me, I found out that I may be teaching Compensatory classes next year (which are proven not to work) because about 70% of our upcoming 9th graders read on a 3rd-5th grade level. Yupp. Sounds like hell. I may also lose the grade I enjoy teaching the most, along with being required to serve on ANOTHER committee. Stressful day. They try to get us to sign our contracts in March, so I'm nervous. Maybe it's time to look....I HATE job change...I have literally worked full time since I was 14 and I have had a total of FOUR jobs.

QOTD: Gosh. There are so many, but if I could truly live there it would definitely be the magical world of my main man, Harry Potter. I would want to be a Weasley. Out of all my other fandoms...well, I just don't think I would survive, haha!
