What time is good to stop eating every day? Sometimes I'm up late... Unable to sleep.....
Like Grim said, it doesn't matter unless you're overeating calories. I eat for the last time between 9-10pm every single night and have no problem maintaining because I fit it into my calories.

As long as you don't overeat, I don't think it matters. I wor****il at least midnight, so I eat Dinner when I get home, but I'm also up until almost 3:00 am. I start eating later in the day than most people as well. My first meal of the day is usually 11:00 am or noon. I've been doing a pretty good job of maintaining my weight so far with my weird hours.

Sounds like my prime goal is to stay focused on my calories and protein and water.
Thanks again everyone for all of your fantastic support. Now I just have to do it!
Hey neighbor...I live right next to Plainfield :)
I'll add that if you have acid reflux, it's best to eat a few hours before bed because it can be much worse with a full, or partially full, stomach. I found that out the hard way, alas.
There also appears to be a link between eating and the circadian rhythm, though we haven't established what/why/etc precisely yet. Disrupting the circadian rhythm tends to be negative, as we need sleep to secrete growth hormone, heal, regulate our moods, and regulate our appetite. So there may be a benefit to not eating too late for a variety of reasons.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

Many thanks for your factual input. I really do appreciate you jogging my memory about the GERD that was pre-surgery weight loss. As I said I seem to have forgotten what I learned. Good to be back on obesity help.
