What time is good to stop eating every day? Sometimes I'm up late... Unable to sleep.....
Once you've reached your protein goal and your calorie limit for the day.

There's no reason not to eat late, if that's the way your meals are planned. If you're eating extra because you're bored, or can't sleep, that's a problem.. but if you're eating within your plan, then it doesn't matter what the timing of those meals are.

I try to stop by 7, but agree proteins and fluids are priority, and if you have to go past 7 to get the job done so be it!
Oh yeah... Earlier on my journey I had a date, time and place for everything. I had to prove it to myself this is what the rules are and i'm a stickler for rules. If this didn't work it was not because I didn't follow the rules. Then I got somewhat relaxed and got off track because of life.
Thanks for listening and sharing!
There's a popular myth anbout not eating after a certain your, but that's hokum. All that matters is how much you eat in the course of the day. Eat too much, you'll gain. Eat less, and lose.
I will qualify that with mentioning intermittent fasting. In a nutshell, thgere is good medical evidence that by not eating for 12 hours in a row each day benefits our metabolism.
Many old timers here would rather eat at night and put breakfast off until close to noon. It works just fine that way.

Great and practical information. I'm sure I can incorporate it into this 24 hour period. I was a little blurred on my timelines. Each day was different due to unusual cir****tances of being bedside with loved ones during their hospitalizations. I substituted a lot of gum chewing for meals. I didn't get physically hungry just mentally and emotionally hungry.
Bless you for your input.

If you feel you have to eat in the evening but your dinnertime is too early, plan your meals/snacks to provide something but stay within planned calories. I have to do that, as there is way too much time between my dinner and bedtime.
