Good morning! Good luck at your appointment today Gwen!

My therapy session went well yesterday, I had a few "ah ha" moments and that's always good:-) If the depression doesn't lift in the next week or so I will go see my PCP, maybe some of my medications need adjusting. Other than having raisin toast yesterday, I haven't turned to food to find comfort so far.

QOTD-I love that some of you have meaning or history attached to your names. My user name is just my name, it's not short for anything. My parents don't have any reason for the naming me Kristi either. The "T" is the first letter of my last name.

B-Chia, flax and pumpkin seed porridge

L-scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese

S-chai tea, 1/2 apple

D-Not sure, maybe Pho or steak somewhere...tbd.

E-Hike with Emmy

Have a great day everyone!

This is my...third day I think, eating the exact same meals. Which I don't really mind, since it's tasty and fits my macros, but it's clearly a sign that I made way too much! Definitely will need to pay better attention to that kind of thing as I meal prep moving forward.

QOTD: Fun question! Like Gwen, Grace isn't my real name, but it's the name I've been using on the internet for a long time. It was my parents' nickname for me growing up, because I was a very ungraceful kid, always bumping into walls and falling over. They thought they were funny...Anyway, I like to read/write and love alliteration, so Grace Gets Gastric just rolled off the tongue. And I figured it would work if I got the "gastric" sleeve or bypass, since I wasn't quite decided yet when I made the username. :)

The story of your nickname is both funny and sad :P It's funny that it stuck, sort of like my nickname of Gwen!

I'm late to this party like usual! I never have time in the morning to get on and check the forums :( I hope your appointment went well today Gwen. It's never easy being naked, even for doctors.

QOTD: My username is just my first initial and last name condensed. I wasn't feeling too creative when I created this account. Moreso stressed and anxious ;)

5mo Post-Op

B: 1 egg, 1/2 English muffin, 1 tiny strip of bacon and 1tbsp melted cheddar

L: 3oz grilled chicken, 1.5tbsp Tzatiki

S1: 4 slices prosciutto, 1 Babybel mozzarella

D: I'm getting my hair cut tonight so most likely tea and a protein box from Starbucks. It's a waste of money since I'll only eat the eggs/cheese but it's better than nothing!

E: 1hr on the Elliptical tonight.

QOTD: I'm not terribly interesting when I come up with user names, so I just went with first and last initial. Every so often, I think of changing it because I don't like being easily googled and Cecily just isn't that common! My mom was an anglophile and liked traditional English names. 99% of people pronounce it wrong, usually saying "cee-sil-ee" instead of "seh-sil-ee" which drives me batty!

B - coffee, yogurt, berrreis, grain free granola

L - chicken bacon panini fro Starbucks

D - smoked pulled pork

S - ??

Hey, everyone! Went see a local theater group performance of "Daddy Long Legs" tonight with one of my BFFs...it was awesome! True to the book, not the Fred Astaire movie. Only 2 amateur local actors on stage for the whole thing and they were amazing. Loved it!

QOTD: My display name here is my first name and last initial. The username I log in with is a combination of my first and middle names, and the one I've used online since 1994. My parents wanted to give me and my sisters easy names, so the oldest are Patti, Cathy, and Debra. Little did she know that the common spelling she chose in the late 50s/early 60s soon changed to Patty, Kathy, and various forms of Debra (Deborah). So the simple names she wanted ended up causing us to have to spell them our entire lives! lol She always hated that for us. I jokingly say my first name is really "Cathywitha'c'" because that's how I always answer that question lol Then our surprise baby sister came along and was named after one of my mom's best friends, Barbra, without the middle "a"...ergo she has spelled her name her whole life as well!

B: Yogurt w/peanut butter and Fiber One, coffee w/cream and xylitol

L: Turkey snack sticks, Swirls cheese sticks, zucchini slices

Lol, I've lost my appetite after the Vikings loss, even on a diet from ESPN.

I sign my real name here and there - Todd. From what I remember picking my user name was mostly for the motivation about how good it feels to be fit and healthy, maybe a bit about the irony of how good it felt to eat.
