Excessive mucus

I just had my surgery on 9/15. I am two days post op. I am having a bunch of mucus. Also finding it very had to get all my water in. Has anyone else experienced this.

I don't know if it's related to the sleeve, but I can tell you that often when people are put under general anesthesia and are intubated, there can be a build up of mucous. Did they give you a spirometer?

Mucus isn't uncommon while you get the gunk out of your lungs from anesthesia. Getting in fluids is a FT job right now, and feels nearly impossible. Just remember that 64oz is the minimum goal daily. You don't work up to it - you just do it. Try different flavors and even temperatures. For some reason, that makes a difference.
