The full name on Amazon: "Nuzest Clean Lean Protein - Premium Pea Protein Powder, 100% Plant-based, Vegan, Daily Free, Gluten Free, GMO Free, Naturally Sweetened, Smooth Vanilla, Sample Size"

You can find it here. It's plant based and vegan. I usually go for Premier Protein Organic Vanilla RTD. I'm trying to find more natural ingredients. I researched the regular Premier Protein RTD shakes and was quite surprised at the amount of chemicals and 'junk' in them. The organic Premier is better, less artificial 'junk', but more carbs at 10g versus 5g.

So I came across the Nuzest and was intrigued. I'd tried plant-based before, specifically pea protein in bulk from Whole Foods. It was ok, but not great. I had to add sweetener, which is against the chemicals I'm trying to avoid to eat clean.

Nuzest comes in several flavors, I got 2 of each to try and today was the first trial. I went "Smooth Vanilla" and it did not disappoint! I think cutting it in with vanilla unsweetened almond milk may have helped enhance the vanilla flavor. It was creamy, no lumps and perfectly satisfying for breakfast.

Because some people get a little testy here when someone posts a testimonial, to be clear I'm not sponsored by them or anything, just wanted to pass along my experience so far with this natural plant-based protein for others if they're interested.

Thanks for posting this. My husband is allergic to milk, so most protein shakes are out for him. He's tried a few of the vegan ones, but the ones he's tried are kind of gritty. That's not the case with this one? I'll mention it to him.

Nope, smooth and creamy. I just put 10 oz of almond milk and the powder in a blender bottle and a few shakes it was good. No clumps (I hate clumps!), super easy.

I agree this is a great product. I really struggled with dairy after my VSG and this easily got me thru the first six months.

I'm now brave enough to try other things and have discovered Amazonian RAW protein powder which are fermented sprout based and prebiotic. It has totally changed my digestion and no more gas (hallelujah!) I still take a probiotic with it.

I am also not trying to sell or pitch anything just adding my 2 cents as I thought it might help someone who experienced the same things as myself
