Whatcha eating today VSGers? Friday, 8/11/2017
Got my lab results back today and my iron was almost double(50) what it was 3 months ago(23) yet still a little in the low side. My surgeon wants it more above 50. This is prolly the first time in years it was that good. He suggested taking it with vitamin C to help with absorbtion. All my other labs were great too and within normal range.

Yesterday was my most non-compliant food day in the 7 or so months since surgery. I actually had too little for M1 and nothing for M2, then we went out for M3 and M4. I had a Georgetown Cupcake, which was my first sweet since surgery. I think I had about 4 bites, and it was a little heavenly. M4 was delicious pan seared sea bass at Black Salt, and I didn't need to feel guilty about that one! In general, I had too little protein and too many carbs.
The good news is, I'm home now and Georgetown Cupcakes requires a 500-mile drive and apparently a 30+ minute wait in line to obtain. Back to the grind tomorrow (would have been today, but things were off with driving home 8 hours).
I actually hopped on the scale when I got home (at 4pm after pushing fluids the whole drive) and was at a new low weight. WTF body, don't reward me for that ****!

Last day of camp, and last day of my job tomorrow...I'm sad :( Gonna miss so many of those kids! The good news is I got my official college acceptance, and am waiting to hear on financial aid before I register. Fingers crossed, I should be a returning student at the end of August!

My food intake has been low this week. My doc started me on vyvanse, and I finally was able to get it filled Monday and started Tuesday. My taste buds seem a bit blunted. I almost feel hungry but don't know what to eat...??? in the next week or so, I'll level out.

Went to the gym and got my measurements done for the first time in 2 years. I am down 50.75" overall. My trainer was so psyched, he took pictures of me holding the measuring tape with 50 inches between my hands. It was really cool!!!
