I guess I'm going to start the thread today because it's 41 degrees and too cold to soak up the sun on the screen porch! Yesterday I scratched something off my bucket list and went rappelling down 35' and 85' high cliffs. Talk about scary and amazing! I also got in 14k steps hiking the trails surrounding where we rappelled. If you get a chance, you should try it!

Once again I ate too many appetizers at a party last night and then dinner. At least the rest of the day I ate well, so I ended up with a 0.4 loss. Thankfully we don't have any more events or guests on the books for a while.

Gorgeous pictures! And I'm still envious of your arms :D I've only done indoor rappelling (about 30') and it was a blast. Although really had the first few times to get over that mental block of "I'm jumping of a thing and falling, which is not a good idea."

Today is gorgeous temperature wise. Lots of rain to bring down the temp and humidity. I decided I would be sad if I didn't take advantage of it and went out to walk with the intention of trying some running intervals. I haven't been able to walk as much as I've wanted post-op because of allergies (coughing is worse than atrophy). My running intervals were.... weird. It didn't feel like hamstring pain or surgical pain, but maybe more like nerve pain? It didn't feel good at all. So I did 1.25 miles of my "around the block" loop and ran for as much as I could tolerate after turning each corner. I'm glad I did it, but I'm beginning to question the feasibility of a half marathon in March if I'll only realistically have 10 weeks to train and be starting back at square one. Blargh.

Anyway.. today is a movie day. Lance and I are seeing Dunkirk and Atomic Blonde. Then I need to school because I ended up taking naps the last two days and not finishing the things I had wanted to finish.

1: protein shake
2: protein bar at movie theater since that's better than buying snacks
3: chicken thighs (I finally get to practice my deboning skills!) and whatever veg looks good at Mom's

Yes, super scary going over the edge backwards. Talk about a leap of faith.

I haven't been running because I'm trying to get maintenance figured out first, but I'm sure it's going to be painful when I try again! Starting back from square one!

Wow looks amazing. I couldn't do it. I am afraid of heights. I'm taking the kids to a dinosaur park today. We might do some go kart racing also.

This morning I'm taking my mom to Spider-Man. She needs a break. We're going to the 10:40, so we might splurge on coffee or popcorn. I might eat b4 I go. No push for exercise this weekend. I tried to fill my Vyvanse yesterday, but got to the pharmacy 5 minutes after they sold their last full 30 caps. I won't be able to get it til Tuesday!! BLAH!

AM: Macadamia Nut K-cups with white chocolate sf torani and Van PP

B: maybe chicken sausage b4 movie

Wow Erin, i dont now if i could do that. Heights make me dizzy feeling.

Not going to the casino today. My brother gave me theater tickets since they can't go for tomorrow afternoon. Will be seeing Hairspray.

The cats got me up at 6:15 this morning, so I went for a walk! 4 hours later, I had walked a half marathon! (21k/13.1 miles)

Already 1,700 calories in the hole... 2 day's worth of calories for me!

Relatively busy Saturday for me, cleaning the house, attending a chamber concert, and then having friends over this evening.

Crazy busy work day! I'm exhausted...sheesh! Still not feeling 100% because of this cold, but much better than yesterday. Glad tomorrow is a day off.
