7 Months Post VSG and 125 lbs Down (Updated Pics)
Well, 7/12/17 marked the 7 month mark from my VSG procedure in December, and I recently achieved a couple of intermediate goals I had set for myself. I hit the 100 lb weight loss mark from the day of surgery (294 lbs the morning of surgery) and am down 125 lbs. from my all-time high weight of 319 lbs. I am still 19 lbs away from my goal weight of 175 lbs, but I continue to make good progress, and I am happy with how I have been able to reshape my body in such a short period of time.
It has certainly not been easy, but I feel as if I have been able to ingrain a number of positive lifestyle changes with regard to my diet and exercise habits. I may stray from time to time with my diet, but I work hard to hold myself accountable, and I track my intake and exercise religiously. I honestly feel like this has been one of the biggest keys to my success. I've come a long way, but still have a ways to go. I just wanted to take a moment to celebrate some personal successes, and maybe provide some hope and motivation to others. I also want to thank everyone here who provided needed support to me before and during this journey!
Great job!
