Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Friday 7/21/17
TGIF! Looking forward to a weekend with no plans except my Orange Theory classes - to which I am addicted. Will be cooking this weekend for meals over the next 2 weeks, which will be pork carnitas and stewed chicken. I love how simple my diet is now! Hope I feel that way in the months to come.
B: 1/2 protein bar and NF latte

Yes, I think that is what makes it so appealing. The classes I go to have top shape athletes to 80 year olds. I started out with just a little weight and walking slow and never felt out of place or judged. In addition, the coaches are really good about correcting form. I have NEVER in my life looked forward to exercising, but I do now. I also come out of the classes feeling like I could run a marathon, even though I am soaked with sweat. I don't know what it is about their workouts but I have a TON of energy when I leave. They will let you try a class for free and are really good about walking you through and they will check on you often to make sure you are doing okay. My first time there one of the exercises was burpees and I sat on the bench and watched. The coach came over and said - um, what are you doing? I said, I'd be lucky to just get down in the starting position. He said, well, let's start with that then. Now, I know this has never been put in writing before, I lOVE burpees. Obviously, I highly recommend it. It is pricey, but well worth it.

I don't have a lot planned for this weekend other then some cleaning and swim time. It's been kinda rainy here this morning. I did have to go for my second knee injection today though.

L: 3.5 oz turkey with Greek cream cheese
D: 1 cup white chicken chili
S: Greek yogurt
E: none- not allowed to workout on my knee injection days. Ortho doc wants me to ice it and elevate.

Same ole', same ole' here today. Heat index warnings into tomorrow evening. Highs tomorrow may hit 100F with heat index of 105-110F. Thank goodness the humidity is staying around 50%, which is "dry" around here!

D tonight was fridge clean out night lol.. I had 2 oz. of blackened tilapia and 2 oz. of southwestern marinated chicken breast
Vitamins and water in. Just walking today.
