Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Saturday, 7/15/2017
on 7/15/17 5:53 am
Happy weekend everybody!
My new kayak/SUP combo came yesterday. Looking forward to trying it out! Weather was cold, windy and drizzly yesterday, but today should be beautiful.
What fun things are you doing this weekend?
B - coffee and yogurt
L - bbq chicken
D - shrimp or scallops and asparagus
S - protein shake
Yay kayak! I hope you have a great time! My butt cushion comes today and I CAN'T WAIT. I never thought I'd be so excited about a cushion to sit on.
I don't have a lot of weekend plans, which suits me quite fine as I feel like the next many weekends are busy ones. This morning I took new post-plastics pictures, Lance and I are going to go see Planets of the Apes later today. Tomorrow I'm going into the city to spend time with great friends. In amongst those things there's normal stuff like grocery shopping, cooking dinner, doing laundry, and finishing up my school work for the week. Good times :)
My psychiatrist advised me yesterday to start taking my Vyvanse at 10am instead of 8am, so I'm going to try that today and see if it gets me through the evenings better.
1: protein shake
2: probably a protein bar due to the movie's timing
3: crispy curried chicken, rice for the guys, maybe a veg if there's a good veg at the store to go with this. Sadly I won't get to marinate the chicken for as long as the recipe would like, but it'll still be delicious!
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: two more days!!

It's raining, again. I'm hoping it will clear up so I can take the kids to Summer Fest. I have to grocery shop, do my laundry, and Jon would like to get to camp to mow the grass at some point. I was hoping (though knew it wasn't likely) that this weeks weigh in would see goal before my 6 month follow up on Monday. No such luck (though I weigh daily so I suppose it could still happen). TrendWeight is predicting the end of next week/beginning of the following, so we'll see!
B: Premier Protein and Coffee
L: Hard Salami rolled up w/ a cheese stick
D: Boneless, skinless chicken thighs w/ a veggie (if we get to the store to buy some!)
S: TBD?
E: Walking around Summer Fest will be all.

Good Morning, All!
The dogs let me sleep until after 0700!!! Food has been good the last three days. My goal for the weekend is to stay on plan. My trainer made a face when I told him I've been between 700-850 since getting back on track, but he likes that I do keep my protein at 100+ per day. I also went to the store and bought greens, avacado, asparagus, snow pea pods, cucumbers, apples and rainier cherries (non-negotiable and not as bad as I thought calorie and carb-wise-TOTALLY WORTH IT). So I'm trying to push a little more non-cal greens into the mix.
AM: Enjoying Gloria Jeans Macadamia Nut Cookie flavored K-cups with caramel PP
Br: Yogurt
L: Cilantro Chicken Wontons with chicken breast
S: Strawberry & Cream PP
D: Chicken Sausage with smoked Mozz, garlic & artichoke. Mixed greens with avacado, snow pea pods and apple slices.
Water & Vites
E: Treadmill & Elliptical
Unfortunately, I don't feel great. For some reason about 2 hours after yesterday's breakfast of refried beans with habanero sauce, I was glued to the toilet. This repeated itself 13 times yesterday. I was flat wore out and in bed at 9:30 last night but I couldn't fall asleep because of how uncomfortable and cold I was. Saturday morning is my official measurements time and I still felt like crap at 6am and I told my sweetie that I will do measurements tomorrow. Looking down at my stomach I can see it is all weird and wrinkly so I think that measurements would have been skewed anyway. I'm down 2.6 pounds from yesterday and I know that is from being sick.
I'm on call for my company and I really hope that I don't get called out.
B: 2 spoonfuls of peanut butter
L: who knows
D: don't want to think about it...
