Help. Can I be kickstarted??

well im embarrassed to be where I am today. 5-29-12 i was 361 lbs and received my sleeve. Fast forward to April 13 I was down to 241 and was in a bad car accident which stalled my progress and halted all physical activity. I have chronic neck and back pain and other than walking.. so no excuses I know I could still be walking, eating right. But I went back to old habits. I have gained and I'm around 288 at this point. It's been years and I believe I have done irreversible damage to this surgery. Anyone get in this spot? Any ideas on where to start to get back? Was thinking of doing liquid diet again.

I had my surgery in 2008. From 2011 to 2016, I gained back 97 pounds. Last October, I got sick of the shiite. I cleaned all the carbs out of my house, and went back to protein first, low carbs, and increasing exercise. Since October 15th, 2016 I have lost 71.2lbs of my regain.
Search the forum. There's a lot of people who talk about losing regain. Check peoples blogs when you find those of us who have gone through the struggle. You may find a lot of good suggestions.
I thought I was going to need a revision, but I didn't. I got my diet in line, and my tool still works. I just have to do my part!

OH! And my biggest recommendation is to stay here and be accountable. I walked away from here and lost my best support system. That was the first domino to fall for me.

Welcome! You -can- do this. You've had success before and you can do it again. I don't recommend going back to liquids because they're not filling so you'll likely just end up feeling hungry and deprived. Instead, I recommend that you work on getting back to your basics. Here's a list of mine, but yours might be slightly different.
1. Prioritize protein and water
2. Deprioritize carbs, especially the refined and processed ones
3. Make the most of healthy fats
4. Eat three meals a day with no snacks
5. Avoid liquid calories (protein shake for breakfast is my exception since I've never liked putting solid food in my stomach first thing in the morning)
a. Don't drink with meals or for 30 minutes after eating
6. Weigh portions and track/log what you consume
7. Eat mindfully and with no distractions aside from real live people
a. Try to eat at a table
8. Move as much as possible
9. Weigh yourself daily
a. But focus on the trend of your weight, not the day to day fluctuations
10. Be kind to yourself

I had surgery in 2014 and started out great... lost about 160 pounds, but was still far from goal. Then had some life-changing events occur. I maintained the loss for about a year, but then started to gain weight. Soon I realized I gained around 30 pounds.
I struggled, struggled, and struggled some more. Could not seem to get back on track, but I never gave up. Finally found a good therapist, which helped tremendously. (Didn't really think therapy would help, but I listened to the good people here, and finally decided it was worth the effort.) I also joined Weigh****chers.... not for their diet, but for the accountability of weighing-in weekly. At long last, I've lost the regain, and am back working on reaching my goal.
We know what we're supposed to do.... but it's hard. The key... don't give up!
