Congested!!!!

I would see a doctor or contact your medical team if you feel it is going to impede your ability to have surgery. They should be able to help you. Today is Fri. so I would contact them today rather than wait. Better to be safe. Without knowing what the congestion is caused from, I don't feel comfortable recommending something. Hope you feel better in a jiff!
Call your surgeon ASAP and ask. Surgery normally isn't postponed unless there's fever, but you need to call and ask and be honest.

I was sneezing, wheezing and coughing some the day of surgery and they did not postpone. I did not have fever. But you definitely should check in with your doctors office and see what you can take according to their plan. I was told Tylenol based products only, no Advil, Motrin, etc. Something like Nyquil, or Tylenol cold/sinus, or even my claritin was ok..but each doctor has different procedures.
