Lettuce?

That sounds like it will be fine eventually, if that is how you prefer to eat your tuna/chicken/egg salads. During the weight loss phase though, it is generally recommended to eat protein first, then a few bites of veggies if you have room, so that you make sure you are eating enough protein to not lose too much muscle mass.

Once you're out another couple of weeks, lettuce in small amounts is ok. I buy the green leaf vs. iceberg. It's easier on my stomach. I make lettuce wraps for everything. Just don't eat a salad, just because it's a filler with little protein or nutrition.
Some people wind up having a problem with lettuce for some reason - it's an individual thing. I usually use chopped spinach in my salads (since about a month out) for its somewhat better nutritional profile over most lettuce. Maybe try a mini-wrap with a leaf of spinach as a WLS version?

I occasionally have lettuce or spinach without trouble. I am 6 months post op. I often eat a few cucumber slices with my chicken and tuna salad. I have also used homemade cheese crisps for the crunch. Just make sure to hit your protein requirements!
