My pants keep falling down!
I am 17 days out from surgery. I can already fit into clothes that I haven't been able to wear in quite a while, and the pants keep falling down! I had some rough days in the beginning, but it is all worth it. I love that I am seldom hungry, and when I am, a few bites makes the hunger go away.
I just wanted to share my happiness!
About 4 weeks out I stepped out of my work van at a customers house and my shorts fell off. OFF!
I swear, staying properly clothed has been one of the bigger challenges of this process.
I have happily had many clothing giveaways over the last 9 months. Initially, I had a good friend who was job hunting and my starting size was the same as hers, so all of my business clothes in my top sizes went to her. Since then, another friend is ahead of me time-wise with VSG but had more to lose so I'm a little ahead of her weight-wise and she left with 2 contractor bags full of clothes this last weekend.
My closet is looking REALLY sparse right now, and I'm starting to wonder when my co-workers will start recognizing the tops I wear.
But I'm getting close to goal, and then I'll REALLY go shopping!!

Congrats I know it's a great feeling! I went back to work Monday and put on my favorite black pants...wow they were huge. I ended up rolling over the waist band. I can't quite fit into what i call my former skinny pants so guess i'll have to stick it out a few more weeks and see what happens.
Enjoy your happiness!
Congrats!! That is an awesome feeling!! It was hard for me to be excited about clothes since I was losing my favorites. So, I bought a dress on clearance that was way too small but that I LOVED. It kept me motivated to get to that size and helped me be less depressed that I was spending money on things I would only wear for a few weeks.
Keep up the good work! You will love the results of this journey!

Great problem to have right??
I have a pair of pants that I had bought well before surgery, hoping one day to fit in them. I started wearing them about 30 lbs ago, and now of course they are getting loose. So I went to grab my belt, and found that it wasn't going to be any help either - I would have needed two more holes if it was going hold anything up.
