I survived!
Same thing happened to me and it was pretty awful! In about 72 hours I felt much better though and at 1 week I felt like myself again. Welcome to the loser's bench!

Try differen****er temperatures if you're having spasms. I found that cold water set my stomach off during the first week or two, but warm or room-temperature water was much easier on my guts.

i am a week and a half out and started feeling pretty damn good a couple days ago.
YAY. Hope you are feeling better soon. I had my EGD this morning and as expected my band has slipped. We will move forward on the revision so hopefully I will be on your side of this soon.
