My surgery was 5/19/17. The gas pains in my body are gone, but I still belch and pass gas almost constantly. Does this get better as I am able to expand my diet?

Check everything you are eating and drinking for sugar alcohols. Some of the chewable vitamins are loaded with them.

My gas was caused by my vitamins. When I changed brands the problem went away.

For me it comes and goes. I used to (its getting much better) get a lot of gas pain under my left side ribs in the transverse colon. Eventually those air pockets would move their way thru and become farts. For my situation, I was/am eating too fast and too big of bites. Not sure if youre experiencing the discomfort there, but maybe am having the same situation if its not caused by foods per se.

Walking should help alleviate the gas. Also - some people have better luck drinking with a straw since they tend to inhale air when drinking without a straw. So that might be something to experiment with.

I had a lot of gas the first couple months but it did get better. I still have issues once in a while, but it's usually from my diet or if I'm constipated.

My gas is always related to artificial sweeteners sugar alcohols. When I remove those, no gas.
