looking for recommendations on chewable vitamins. I take regular needs daiLynn and chewable vitamins when I actually take them. I'm pretty sure after surgery I will not tolerate vitamins in pill form.

What makes you think you won't be able to tolerate pills after surgery? Most people here use them with no problem.

I don't tolerate them now. I can only take a few and then I gag and get sick. The few I HAVE to take are for my thyroid.

I take Bariatric Fusion chewables. Some flavors are good, and some suck. I like the strawberry and the orange. I could swallow pills now but since they (the chewables) are complete and I don't need anything extra, I have just stuck with them. I'm afraid if I introduce multiple pills I'll start forgetting.

Do you buy them online?

YOu should be able take pills after surgery, but slowly at first...one at a time. I never once had to resort to chewables.

I can't and won't take them now, it's not a matter of should. I'm trying to ensure that I'm ready and have all the things I will need, knowing my own quirks

Chewables are horrible, and I understand the aversion to sticking something to the back of your throat. Try this trick before you subject yourself to that nasty taste:

  1. fill mouth with water
  2. tilt head back
  3. drop pill in
  4. swallow

You won't feel or taste a thing.

I found Barimelts on Amazon. You can just suck on them and they aren't horrible
