Sushi
Haven't had sushi post op since I personally avoid rice now. But I have had sashimi several times. I do have restriction with it but not as much as with denser protein like chicken. Regardless of what I'm eating, I measure the amount and don't rely on waiting until I feel restriction. I have learned the hard way that even now, I don't "eyeball" amounts well and have to measure. Most restaurants will tell you the approximate weight of the protein portion of a meal.

Asian foods of all kinds are super popular where I live, so I have sushi, nigiri, sashimi, poke bowls etc. about once a week. While rice doesn't bother me, I try not to eat too much of it and focus on the fish. I can't say I've noticed that I can eat more of it that other foods though!
My love affair with sushi has turned into a lust affair. After I get to goal I will enjoy some a couple times per year because of the rice.
You posted a month ago that you've lost 230 pounds but aren't at goal yet.
Then you commented to say that you're unable to reach your protein goals without supplements.
So I've got to ask - why are you eating sushi?

Because I am human... i have to indulge myself once in a while :)
I rarely eat them, but I am very surprised how much I can eat sushi compared to other carbs... Why I can't eat pasta that much for example.
and by the way, I have increased protein intake recently and I am trying to balance all nutrition needed
thanks
No - rewarding yourself with food is a bad plan.
