Hungry at 3 a.m.

I am starting a pattern of waking up at 3 a.m. and I'm soo hungry. Today I got up and ate a Greek yogurt before going back to bed. Anyone else have this issue? I was fine until about 2 weeks ago.
I agree with Erin. Are you taking a PPI such as Prilosec or Nexium? Or Pepcid? It might be worth taking a Pepcid prior to bed and seeing what happens.

I'm going to try that and see if it helps. Thanks.
I worked midnight shift in a computer room for years and always ate lunch at 3 AM.
I plan for a 3 AM meal and track it in My Fitness Pal. I named it "Early Morning Meal".
Some nights I don't wake up, but if I do, I often have my meal. I keep it at 200 calories or less. A yogurt would work fine for me. Eating six meals daily of 200 to 300 calories keeps my blood sugar stable.
I keep my total calories for the day at 1400.

Thanks. I like the early morning meal idea. But I'd rather just sleep through the night.

Thankfully for me sleep trumps food. I can sleep no matter how hungry I am. I have a terrible sleep schedule and pattern though which probably adds to wanting to sleep rather than eat
I feel like if you got up and fed a dog or a baby, they would continue to wake up at that time of night and a bad habit would be developed. I think this would be the same for an adult ... my advice would be to tough through it and don't eat - and your body won't get used to eating then. It may be easier said than done.
