Dehydration ain't no joke

Good luck on your surgery. Dehydration is definitely awful, getting our liquids is so important, and hard sometimes. They are easy to forget!

You'll be fine as long as you're in the hospital; the IVs will keep you hydrated. It's when you get home that the struggle to stay hydrated will begin. Sip every five minutes for the first 2-3 weeks if that's what it takes to keep you from dehydration. Use a timer if you have to. Good luck!

If you had to be hospitalized for dehydeation BEFORE surgery, you are going to have a really, really hard time after. As in dangerous, life threatening, doing permanent damage to yourself.
Make drinking your new full time job.

At least he said my labs looked good so I had been doing something right? Bright side:) if I hadn't had this happen with my sleeve I would've been able to get enough. It was mild, but I couldn't believe how bad I was feeling from it. Also not eating any solid foods has me weakened. Hope it will all be behind me after surgery layer on this morning- prayers everyone? Thanks for all your support:)

Have you been on a liquid diet pre-op? I would have had a hard time being dehydrated when I was on liquids!
