Whatcha eating today VSGers? Monday, 5/8/2017
Happy Monday! Four days left in my term, woo! Today I've got my anatomy lab final which, thankfully, doesn't count. So I haven't put too much time into studying for it! After that I've got my voice lesson and some random errands before getting home to work on my power point for my art class. Whee!
1: protein shake
2: leftover meats and cheeses from Italian restaurant
3: fried egg with leftover fried tamales
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: nope
How about you? Anything you're currently counting the days until? Happy Monday!

I'm a nervous wreck today! My great-uncle's funeral is at noon, which means the big weight loss reveal to my extended family. Plus, tonight is the big reveal to my oldest nephew as well. Big day for me. Figuring out my outfit for the day has been a week long project. I never had this issue when I was huge...Black tent? Check! Ready to go! lol
Finally found the right outfit, and the right shoes to look my best...I think. I've only changed my mind a hundred times. Anyway, a weirdly emotional day...very sad for the loss of my uncle, but happy to see everyone and for them to see me. Thank goodness for my happy pills (antidepressants), which will keep me from melting down!
B: Colby-jack cheese stick, coffee w/heavy cream
L: Not sure, after funeral luncheon with the family, some sort of meat and maybe cheese.
S: Celery and natural peanut butter
D: Dinner with nephew at Japanese restaurant--Yakitori (chicken skewers) and Oshinko (Japanese pickles).
Water and vites on track
Counting the days: Until appointment with new GYN surgeon to plan my hysterectomy...finally! Two grapefruit-sized fibroids that make me look 6-months pregnant. Bugs the heck out of me, cuz my stomach should look much flatter than it does! Hopefully surgery by end of July!
This is going to be a busy week for me! Monday/Tuesday are the last two days of finals for the students here. Then we move right into Board of Trustee meetings Thursday/Friday and then finally more BoT and two commencements on Saturday (grad and under grad). Sunday will be a day to rejoice, and probably go off the grid up at camp. Then I need to move right into packing for vacation, we leave next Friday!
B: Dannon L&F w/ PB2 and Babybel
L: Turkey w/ Laughing Cow and cheese
D: Boneless, Skinless chicken thigh
S: Premier Protein and maybe some Halo Top as I'm loooow in calories today.
E: TMI ALERT! Look away if I'm going to offend you! But, I have a Hemorrhoid and it f-ing sucks. I've never had one before but they HURT. I have been through 3 major surgeries with nothing but Tylenol (and motrin for the ones pre-WLS) and this is more sucky. So anyway, no working out for me.

If it's a chronic hemorrhoid, have you thought about having surgery to remove it? Those things are horrible!
I've never had one before now! EVER! Friday night something was a bit tender and Saturday I was in agony. It's somewhat better with over the counter treatments but it's by no means gone. It seems like the meds are treating the pain but not the size. I made an appointment with my doctor for Wednesday, but I hope it will be gone before then!

Well ugh I'm feeling a bit down. My whole body is aching and I've been crazy exausted. I'd like to hope it is for one reason but I think it might just be life kind of hitting me.
My sister and I finally made up last week which is great especially b/c it makes it easier for me to be there for her right now. Her brother in law past away on Saturday and it is just heartbreaking. He was only 30 and a really good guy who just got caught in a bad spot and couldn't find a reason to want to live. It is so sad. There isn't much I can do to help. Her husband was already in a very dark place, so I just can't imagine how very hard it is for them right now. She is alone on the west coast with her 2 year old and really hurting and needing to mother and try to emotionally support her husband 3000 miles away. Ugh - life is hard.
Wow I was contemplating canceling my therapy for tonight, but after word vomitting that, I guess I really need it.
I had a hockey tournement this weekend and although I workout all the time my body is ACHING like no other. We definitely get used to the exercise we do and new stuff is hard. I haven't played hockey in like 3 months.
And I have been eating junk food again and it is NO bueno. I need to cut it out.
Plan for today -- super rough plan as I was out of town most of the weekend and pretty much passed out when I got home:
B - fit frappe & coffee
L - either leftover noodles & veggies or going out -- prob should go out to ensure I get some protein'
S - yogurt parfait, protein shake & prob a starbucks run -- I wont get home till after 8 so will be a long afternoon
D - chicken & brussel sprouts maybe turned into a stir fry
S - maybe nothing cause dinner will be @ 9. Maybe cottage cheese?
E - hopefully I make it to crossfit. but if the fatigue continues, sleep.
I'm glad you made up with your sister. She's gonna need your support. So sad he was so young.
B. Premier Protein
S: White bean hummus
L: Salmon and mashed potatoes
S: Apple Sauce
D: NOT SURE!!!
L/V: On track
Exercise: nopeeee!! Not yet!
