What do you use to track food?

What do you use to track your food after surgery? Is there anything out there that will keep track of protein?

I just got all my clearances done and am waiting for insurance approval!

Thank you!

MyFitnessPal. Best thing ever. Once you have your most commonly eaten foods in your diary, it takes about 2 minutes per day to keep track of everything.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

I use the app Baritastic. It's like MFP, but personally I just like it better.

A journal and pen. Black ink, real paper. It makes the connection real to me. That is the same reason why I don't use a debit or credit card. If I swipe plastic it could be $2, $20, $200 or $2000 and it all feels the same. Paper money from my hand makes a real connection to me and tracking my food is the same way.

I found a great weight loss journal book, and that's how I did it for the first about 3 months or so. Then I heard about MFP and Baritastic, and I found it was just soooo easy to input into the app, I was a convert. PLUS I have it with me when I'm out, so even a spur of the moment stop for lunch or dinner, I have it right there to log my food. But then again, I never carry cash lol

Journal and pen. I track food water, vitamins and exercise. I used to track my blood sugars and insulin but don't need to anymore!

I wrote the grams of protein in the foods I eat all the time on the back page for quick reference.

MyFitnessPal. It has the most comprehensive database for food other there IMO. I also like the recipe builder.
