What would you order here?
I haven't done one of these in a while! (Warning, website has sound, ugh.)
My partner is racing this weekend and we're going to dinner here between his Saturday night 5k and Sunday morning half marathon.
If you were eating here, what would you order? (Note: I'm not asking you to tell me what I should order, I'm asking you what YOU would order.)

I'm seriously considering this -- Tagliere Misto (For Two) - A mix of Italian cold meats and cheeses. $20.99
I'd have tons of leftovers, but that's not really an issue. :)

I would eat the Polpette Parmigiana without the bread. I love meatballs!

I love seafood too so my choice would be either Crostini di Mare or Ravioli Mare e Monti. I wouldn't worry about the carbs or anything else because I eat right 90% of the time and a beautiful meal should be enjoyed.
Interesting implication that a meal can't be enjoyed if it doesn't have carbs? I definitely enjoy meals without pasta, bread, etc :D

Sorry if I came across wrong. The meal should be enjoyed because it is special. To eat off the plan isn't an issue as long as it isn't a habit. For me if I'm going to someplace special I will order and not feel the guilt of the small amount of pasta or bread that I would consume. Protein would still be first though.
The Gamberi Gratinati sounds good. I'd probably not worry too much about the bread crumbs as long as it wasn't being cooked in butter sauce (you can't really tell from the description?).
Also; maybe Mozzarella alla Caprese. It's my go-to for Italian places that don't serve anything but pasta/pizza. I mean who can go wrong with cheese right?
We have a local place (not Italian) and I order a cheese board and then have a bite or two of Jon's protein, so I think your idea is good too.
I tried to get past the Antipasta menu, but I get caught up in all the stuff you have to ask to NOT have on your plate!
