Well, I had a total flop of an event yesterday and I think my Dad's dog is going to die before he gets home this weekend. So, my weekend sucked. Hopefully this week will be onward and upward. It's finals week for the campus I work for, so we're in the home stretch before the students take off.
B: Siggi's and Babybel
L: Going to a burger place for a work lunch, so I'm guessing a bunless burger
D: Bourbon Salmon (1oz) and one pan seared scallop
S: Premier Protein and Jerky
E: Arm/Back day with my trainer

Ooh cookbook club -- that sounds cool. I meal prepped yesterday. It was the first time in a while. I cleaned out my fridge - scrubbed every shelf. It feels so good to have a clean fridge full of tasty veggies ready to be warmed up.
Work is still busy but I feel like I'm almost to the top of the hill and should be able to relax a little bit after the next day or so. Historically I have thrived on killing it at work. I'm really trying to still do a great job but maintain balance in life. I think this will be something I need to keep top of mind forever. Work just always seems to creep and I can't let it take over.
Food for today - rough plan:
B - fit frappe & coffee
L - random mix - couple of pot stickers, carrots & hummus, and grapes
S - yogurt partfait (yogurt, strawberries, honey & choc chips :) & protein shake
D - meat balls, brussel sprouts & broccoli rice
S - unsure - maybe rice cake w/ pb & banana
E - crossfit

I think this is the link that inspired us to start it. We've had some drama... but it's been pretty awesome overall. We do one dinner a quarter so the one on Sunday was our 6th!
