Day One Post-Op
Had my surgery yesterday. I was discharged at 1 today. I was feeling great when I left. Fever went up since getting home. But only 99.8 so not a concern yet. I'm struggling with the prosource. It has entirely way to much flavoring. I'm diluting it 1:1 with water just to get it down. Other than the slight fever and struggling with the the prosource I'm doing fine. Pain is very minimal. I tried to nap on my bed and it was way to soft. I woke up very stiff. I think I'll sleep on the sofa instead tonight.
How is my experience comparing to others so far?
Seems normal, although I have no idea what prosource is. Work on getting in your fluids and walking.

I would definitely keep a close eye on the fever. I work in surgery and we always tell patients to call the doctor if they run fever over 100.0. Could be the first indicator of infection. Best of luck to you! I am about 18 days post-op and today was the first "good" day for me. Hope you have an easy recovery!

Yeah I've been watching the fever. They told me 101 was the magic number to call in at. It's been in the high 99s.
