2 months out
Today marks two months since surgery. I've lost about 33 pounds in those two months. I was wearing size 24 pants and I'm now fitting into size 18. It has been a lot easier to be at work too. When I crouch down to look for books (especially in the children's section) I'm more "compact" and don't feel like I'm taking up a lot of space. I have no regrets from surgery and while there are some foods that I really want to eat a lot of, I am able to have a little bit and realize that I'm fine with what I had and can move on. I'm grateful for having had the surgery and can't wait until I reach my goal. I have lost a total of 140 pounds and have another 80 to go and the fact that my "pounds-to-lose" is only two digits is shocking to me.
