These last 10 pounds
Hi everyone.I am almost 2 years out. Down over 130 pounds. These last 10 pounds are kicking my butt. Want it gone before my dr appt in July.
I can't seem to get my crap together. I was exercising but stopped when life got crazy. I just lost my father and I'm still reeling from that.
I know what to do, but can't make myself do it. Thoughts?
I'm sorry for the loss of your dad. I recommend talking about this with your therapist - it might just be that you need to grieve right now and grief brain is taking up too much of your brain to leave space for the willpower of eating right. Be kind to yourself.

I highly recommend finding a therapist. I recommend one just for WLS and when you add the loss of a parent on top of that? Sigh.
I recently finished a bereavement group at my local hospice as well. It was beneficial for me, might be something you want to look into?

I'm so sorry for your loss. Maybe try and put up notes of encouragement that your Dad might have said to you before his passing. Motivation is hard to find when going through a sad, emotional time.
Give it a little time. Something will click and then you'll remember that you CAN get those last 10 lbs off.
You've got this.
