When Could you Eat 3-4oz?
I'm three years out and still can't eat 4 ounces of some foods :P

I will be 10 years in October and could eat eight ounces of meat, salad and vegetables at a meal. It would take longer than it used it, because I would get full and have to put my fork down for a bit.
There are days when I fill up on one ounce of meat. Most days I eat about three to four ounces at a meal. I can eat more of beef filet than I can chicken.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Sometimes wonder why I can't seem to eat more than 2 oz at a sitting. Great restriction but in an nearly a year out. Soups of course I could do 4-6 oz depending on how much dense protein. It makes getting all protein difficult and I have to eat 5-6 small meals or use protein shakes to do so.
Anyone else have this restriction level?
Wow! Yeah, no. I feel like one bite past 2oz and I'd be really uncomfortable. I can sometimes add a soft food (ie: 2oz of salmon and a laughing cow cheese, which is about 1/2 an ounce).

I can eat 3 oz of protein, but nothing else and I'm 9 weeks out. I have to supplement with shakes to get my protein levels met.

Casseroles type meals are a great way to get some veggies in. I had surgery in December and I can eat 3-3.5 oz of most meats..except steak and pork chop, that's more like 2.5-3 oz. I almost always have a protein shake, and my plan does allow for protein snacks. Sometimes I have 2 shakes in a day if I'm just not in an eating mood. The other day I made a pizza chicken "casserole-ish" dish and put mushrooms in it. Or pizza crust chicken...the crust is protein so you could add any combination of veggie toppings and still have decent protein from the chicken. I also like cucumber slices with my chicken/tuna salad for crunch and dipping..even just a few provides that fresh element I miss occasionally.

I can eat 3 oz at just over three months. However, I don't. I eat 2 oz for my meals, and eat four meals a day and generally have two high protein snacks (such as a protein drink, beef jerky, quest protein chips on very rare occasions since snacky foods I've learned are kinda my triggers). I would rather eat small amounts more often rather than risk pushing a stomach I'm not sure is ready for 3 oz yet!

I can eat 3-4oz now at 4 weeks post-op but I mostly try to limit it to 2oz. Hopefully I can eat so much because I've only tried wet protein (egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, fish balls) so far.
