Happy Monday! I had a super exhausting weekend and didn't get to study at all for my anatomy exam this morning, so I'm posting this really quickly and then getting back to my flashcards. Yikes! I've got two exams and two papers due this week, but only today should be awful due to lack of proper prep time. But I got to see Neil Gaiman!!! And I got to watch the pilot episode of American Gods!!!! It was amazing and totally worth it :) Even if the scale is up 4lb due to travel weight. I know it's not real weight, so whatever.

3: skirt steak maybe? I'm going to the store on the way home and will pick up whatever meat looks easy and good and a veg to roast to serve along with it. I did not meal plan over the weekend either :P

LOL don't we all think our moms are idiots when we're young? Unfortunately, we also know that "cleaning a little bit every day" doesn't get the DEEP cleaning done. Time to get the garage in order, steam clean the carpets and drapes, do the windows inside and out, and all that other SUPER fun stuff mom conveniently forgets to tell us about hahaha
It was a quiet weekend for us. I think Jon and I were fighting off some illness, as he had a slight fever all weekend and I was so tired and couldn't eat much. Working out with my trainer again tonight. I feel whooped, so I hope it's not terrible.

Hi everybody! Hope you had a good weekend! I went a slight bit off the rails yesterday and did have a small piece of Lemon poke cake, but only up a pound, so feeling good about that and ready to get down to business of cutting out the extra carbs again. Looking forward to a low key week and not much running around after work each night. Maybe I'll get the doggies out for some walkie walks!

Food and exercise were off all weekend. Didn't eat crap, but ate crappily (protein bars in the middle of the night). No exercise this weekend. I got my new couch, and spent the weekend on it!!
No numbers to report from the weekend. But I did go to the store last night for provisions.
Six pounds of chicken breast, two pounds of carrots, 90 minutes in an instant pot makes an incredible feast for me AND the kids!

A quiet weekend here, but a beautiful one. April is the best month in CA I think! I ordered an annual state park parking pass which should be here Wednesday so I can get back to beach walks at Crystal Cove State Park. I had stopped renewing it because 'walking while fat' up from the beach to the parking was exhausting. But exhausting hills can only help me at this point! Plus it's gorgeous and you get to see dolphins, sea lions, and the occasional whale frolicking...
Today I have a hair appointment to get it colored and it has barely grown at all. Normally it grows like a weed. I've also found my hair hurts when I move it around, which is what has happened before a big shed when I've lost a lot of weight in the past. I looked it up. It's called trichodynia and is related to hair loss. Ugh. I guess it's almost time...

I've been going back and fourth the last 2 weeks over the same 2 pounds. I know I haven't been eating as much because any bit of food flares my acid reflux. I've also been retaining water for whatever reason too. I can feel it in my legs and by the end of the day my feet are slightly swollen. Once we get this acid reflux figured out, I hope everything gets back to normal. It's so frustrating.
