Stepped on the scale this morning after a rather energizing workout, and discovered I've hit 199. Haven't been here since middle school probably. It's exciting.
To all you new folks, or folks in the pre-op stage, I cannot emphasize this enough: Enjoy the ride. You've suffered long enough, this process is about healing physically and to maybe a greater degree mentally.
Work hard, develop new habits, embrace wellness and fitness [at the appropriate point] during your journey.
Stay positive, don't seek out things to be worried about. Do the best that you can to put the fear of failure out of your head (even if just for a minute or two at a time). I liken the fear of failure to my experience quitting smoking. Each day, when I had a craving, I fought it and thought positive. Subsequently, each craving lasted a shorter and shorter period of time until eventually it was only for a second, and I continued on with my business. Whenever you have a negative thought or fear, think positive.

Congratulations! I hit the mark this week too. So satisfying and really ups the motivation.
