Whatcha eating today? Tuesday, 4/11/2017
Good morning all! It's a gorgeous day here and I'm looking forward to getting out to run - especially since this is the only day this week I'll get to run due to scheduling! (I'm going away for the weekend to see Neil Gaiman speak - so excited!) Today is also the day to pick up my cap and gown for commencement, so that's exciting. I was googling last night about how to wear the garb and how to make it look good (short version: you can't) and I ran across a post somewhere from a young woman who found out too late that her gown wouldn't fit due to her weight (they're sized based on height only and we all know how that can go). And it hit me that it never once crossed my mind that my gown might not fit. Which is pretty amazing.
1: protein shake
2: leftover fajita nachos
3: leftover frittata
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: running and yoga stretching
How about you?

Congrats on the upcoming graduation, Gwen! I don't think anyone has ever thought of that gown as a fashion statement, but it does fill one with extreme pride to wear the frock! :)
My neighbor had her baby yesterday morning, so my dog sitting days with her Riley and Gretchen will come to a fast end soon. :( I really liked visiting with them and it's got me thinking maybe to take on a small part time job of being a doggy sitter!
B: Bananas and Cream Premier Protein
L: 3 oz roast beef, 1 oz swiss cheese
S: strawberries with ricotta cream
D: Italian sausage link with 1/3 c. light alfredo, 1/2 c. brussel spouts
Water-I am going to get in 64 ozs today if it drowns me! :)
Walking at work breaks and vitamins in!
I am excited for the whole graduation thing! Especially since I'm on the 20-year plan instead of the "regular" 4-year one ;)
Congrats to your neighbor and dog sitting sounds like a great part-time hobby occupation! I keep thinking that I want to start volunteering at my local humane society to get my cat fix, but I figure I need to wait until I'm finished with this term so I'm no longer dissecting cats..... since, yeah, that'd be weird.

Yesterday was a decent day. I received one of three Yin Yoga videos that I ordered, by recommendation of my Friday night teacher, yesterday. This will make it easier to do some Yin at home. They are by a very well respected teacher named Sarah Powers. I actually got 7 hours last night, which is better than in a while. Plan for today is to get in my steps. I am really getting involved in the Fit*****allenges. Sweep the rug today so I can do a couple yin poses tonight before bed.

Yin Yoga is awesome :)
For my home yoga practice, I use an amazing app called Yoga Studio (I think it's owned by Gaiam now). It's got a GREAT variety of classes in various lengths of time (5-60 minutes) and varying difficulties. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who didn't have a studio/class practice (or background with studio/class practice) since it's important when you're new to be able to get adjustment/correction, but if you already practice yoga, it's a great home supplement :D

Yesterday was a beautiful day. Today is warm but misty and overcast. I got in a 3 mile walk and also an hour and 45 minutes with my trainer last night. So, today will be rest day as I'm feeling pretty whooped, muscle wise.
I've been riding a motorcycle for about 4 years now. I realized yesterday that when you're an obese female riding one, no one pays you any mind. However, apparently when you're an average american woman weight female every man in existence waves at you. This was seriously unnerving to me. Like, what the hell?
