burning spot
I have an area in line with my belly button that is causing an issue. It is well below any incision. It feels like a really bad sunburn or an actual burn. I don't see anything but I am 4 days post op and it is still the same or possibly a little worse. I hurts more than my incisions at times. I thought at first maybe it was from the lovely synthetic undies they gave me, but it's not getting better. Any thoughts?

I've had that several times. I haven't even had surgery yet. Mine was from my abdominal wall separating. So they had to go in and fix it. I have now two spots that feel like someone is hold a lighter to and it burns. I've had previous surgeries for endometriosis and I had a couple Trocar hernias.
I hope u find a resolution to your burning sensation.
I had a lot of nerve pain around my largest incision (where they removed my stomach). It felt very strange, painful and weird for several weeks (much like the burning sensation you describe), but it eventually just dissipated as the nerves reconnected their pathways through healing. It was disconcerting and made sitting upright uncomfortable, but it wasn't anything to worry about.
