Puree.... Yes! and Ugh!
So what are some of the things you found that helped you through your puree phase?
I have made some meatballs and some tuna salad, but it is just not something I really look forward to ingesting at this point. I had some soup I liked, but that has been it so far.
Just trying to find something that tastes better than it looks. :)

This. I was craving refried beans with cheese the entire time I was on liquid only. On the way home from the doc's office when I got cleared to soft/puree, we stopped and got some for me. LOL. Best refried beans EVER.

Eggface Ricotta Bake, scrambled eggs, greek yogurt, hummus, guacamole, flaky white fishes (I liked to pan cook them with taco seasoning and add plain greek yogurt and a sprinkle of cheese, bam! Fish tacos).
I did canned chicken and canned ham (the real canned ham, not spam)
Add protein powder to anything soft that doesn't have it. Pudding, jello, the above mentioned guac. You can also blend cottage cheese into things (it's not gross). Ricotta with Torani SF syrup is awesome.
A note on the meatballs, I didn't have great luck with ground turkey or chicken early on. It felt very weird on the sleeve. I'm 11 weeks out and still haven't tried burger because a lot of folks have trouble with it.

Refried beans with some cheese melted in, sugar free pudding made with fairlife milk mixed with unflavored protein powder, finely chopped chicken salad and tuna salad (I put mine in the food processor), and partially blended chili (yum!) did it for me. I just ate the same stuff over and over for 2 weeks until I could go on soft foods.
Here are the foods I ate during pureed stage - I pureed everything either with a stick blender or in a mini processor cup. I basically just cooked normally for my family and pureed a cup of food from each meal for myself. Pureed Day was the best day ever.
butter chicken curry
caribbean chicken curry
chickpeas with tzatziki
hard boiled eggs with avocado
lamb burgers with tzatziki
meatballs with marinara
meaty spaghetti sauce
sardines with avocado and lemon balsamic vinegar
sausage lentil soup
scrambled eggs with laughing cow cheese
shepherd's pie (without the potato topping)
sloppy joes
slow cooker pork salsa verde
slow cooker red beans no rice
slow cooker salsa chicken
tuna salad pouch
turkey chili from Panera
turkey pot pie (just the innards, not the pastry topping)
waikiki meatballs
white beans with pesto

I'm loving reading these because although I should be on soft solids this week I've had to start my diet process over (long story), so back on liquids again. Get week I'll hopefully get to do puree again and I'm loving some of these fresh ideas. So glad you asked this.
My favorite, as many have said before, was the refried black beans but I also blended up Pico de Gallo and added aTBSP of that with a bit of cheese too. Throw in the microwave for a minute and it's warm and delicious.
Good luck!
