I went for an eye exam yesterday. Hasn't changed in 3 years. That was a surprise!
This kept me from going to the gym, which was probably a good thing, as my right knee is a little achy. I need to use the elliptical more this week.
Yesterdays #'s:Calories-921, Fat-15.5g, Fiber-1.4g, Carbs-51.4g, Sodium-3437.3mg, Protein-137.5g, Water-61.1 fl oz. Daily Calorie Composition: 23% from carbs, 16% from fat and 61% from protein.
AM/B: SF Peppermint latte w/ON white chocolate protein
S: cottage cheese, L&F Yogurt

I had to run a car over to the mechanic as soon as I woke up this morning - whee. I had planned on not needing to leave the house at all. Oh well. Now I'm home and I have quite a list of things to accomplish. I'm hoping for a great and productive and relaxing day!

2: leftover skirt steak - omg, this stuff was amazing and so simple
3: staff meal oven-roasted chicken thighs, balsamic-glazed mushrooms, skillet roasted potatoes - the first two recipes are from my cookbook for this week, Mozza at Home. I just noticed that I had actually planned this to be Friday's dinner. Oops. But the first step is "put chicken on tray in refrigerator overnight" and I've already done that last night, so it will be dinner tonight whether I had planned that or not!

I hate exercising in public. I have a recumbent bike but it still hurts my bad knees. Today I ordered an elliptical machine, and I'm excited about it getting here. Getting serious about exercise, I've been slacking bad!

I'm still feeling kind of crummy. Arg. I think I might go to the gym anyway today and see if a little sweat helps - plus I'm dying to do the workout.
I didn't eat enough yesterday. I think my appetite is low because I'm sick. My protein was only 83grams which is super low for me. I'm going to make sure to get in more today.

This reminds me that I need to start increasing my protein. I keep on forgetting. But my plastic surgeon wants me to be getting closer to 100g a day vs the 80ish a day I'm getting now.

I'm thinking I should probably just go zero carb between now and the end of recovery. Maybe I'll have a "cheat day" each week where I have a plate of veggies for dinner or something. :P
