My sister is...?
Just found out today that my sister is pursuing WLS. Not sure which type yet. She has talked with me about it before on countless occasions, but always a little scared to take the plunge. Her heart conditioning is worsening though so I suspect this is motivating her to move forward. I know in our earlier conversations a few years back she was all about the lap band. I have gently tried to sway her from that into whatever other option proves to be a best fit, be it Rny, Vsg, or Ds. I doubt she would do DS though given it is the most drastic. Anyway, they are estimating an August date for her. She just finished the psych eval, so not sure how many more hurdles to go other than she is planning on having a heart surgery prior so that makes it a little different path for her. Fingers crossed this works out for her!
