Anyone have experience with raw oysters post VSG?

VSG on 12/28/16

Checking to see if anyone has been able to eat raw oysters post VSG. I eat sashimi with no problem but I'm kind of nervous about the oysters. Chew, chew, chew.. ugh. Let me know if you've tried it and how it went.

Yes. Love them! But I didn't have them until at least 6 months (possibly longer). I just had a few the other night.

Love raw oysters! Have had no issues with eating them post-surgery. Have had them as soon as I was cleared for solids.

I've been eating raw oysters, clams, tuna and salmon(cold smoked) since I was allowed to have solid food too! I have more issues with some cooked foods than raw fish!
