Ha Ha, just a half marathon. You type that so casually. . That's a BIG FREAKING deal! Go you. Yeah! I hope you do well.
Haha! Not casually typed at all. I just wouldn't want anyone to think I had run a marathon, because that would be claiming success I definitely have not earned!
(But it's amazing how many people told me, prior, "good luck on your marathon!" And who have said, "how'd your marathon go?" They're totally difference. Half marathoners are only "half crazy.") ;)

Feeling much better today, not sure what was going on this week. Went out grocery shopping today..not having healthy choices in the house is dangerous.
B soft scrambled egg with cheese
S Atkins shake (almost forgot it in the freezer, but glad I did, it was slightly slushy)
L Bojangle's roasted chicken bites and Cajun green beans (1 combo can make 2-3 meals)
D grilling steaks and making a big salad..hopefully I have room for a bite or 2 of veggies.
Water and vitamins good.
First, Happy BIrthday Gwen! Second, hope the 1/2 marathon went well for you. And lastly, I'm still in my first week of post-op so
my breakfast was a spoonful of vanilla Greek yogurt
lunch was tomato juice
And for dinner I just attempted the Unjury- chicken soup flavored protein mix and it was a bust so I'm not sure what I'm doing for dinner at this time. It's like it curdled or something. Anyone else have this problem with their protein mixes?
I attempted to walk more today since I've still been pretty restful since my surgery was Tuesday, but every time I attempted to walk more than around the house I started getting sharp pains in my left side, like gas pain, but it never moved every time I walked about. Anyone experience that too in their first week?

With protein drinks you have to stir in the powder and then warm it or it will gel. If you warm water and put in the mix, it's no bueno.
