As of today I'm 50 lbs from my initial goal. I haven't weighed this since my oldest nephew was 2 y/o....he turned 29 in November! I feel so blessed to have had this surgery.

Sunday night was the first night in nearly 20 years that I did not sleep with a bed wedge, elevated top of bed, or sitting in a chair just so I could breathe. Just me flat in the bed with my usual couple of pillows. So liberating and un-freaking-believable!!

How exciting, Cathy! Whoohoo! I am almost to the 1/2 way mark of my goal (8 lbs out) after 3 1/2 months and looking so forward to reaching it. Hopefully by the first of April I can say I am half way there! Yay for all of us!
